PRWeb Lets the Evangelista's Loose...

I guess with the coming release of Jack Black's "Nacho Libre'", where a Mexican Wrestler saves a Mission through Jack's amazing powers of silliness, inspired PRWeb CEO David McInnis to get jiggy with a little evangelism of his own.

Nacho_libre PRWeb's new Evangelist Program provides a mechanism for PRWeb-ites (PRWebsters?... we need a name for us PR-geeks. First one with something usable gets a free copy of my PR-Pro software... how's that for motivation?) to be able to receive an agency commission on press release activity referred by a select group of individuals and companies.

But enough of my yakkin'... here's the press release on it.

PRWeb Makes Uncommon Move...

It appears David McInnis is still hard at work shaking up the industry. First was PRWeb's SEO optimization of press releases...

Then, in some crazy fit of Web2.0-ishness, PRWeb added Trackbacks to press releases...

Mashuptown1sm But evidently that wasn't enough, and the company has gone hog-wild by opening their Podcasts to sampling, editing and re-distribution at will.

What will that do for you? Try this: Think about a podcast of a car cleaner mixed to Gary Neuman's "Cars" tune, delivered via iTunes...

Yeah, just think about it. Crazy, huh?

This is cool stuff. I can see some radical resampling happening... or stringing a series of podcasts together to form a news channel to accompany you on your morning ride into work.

Any ideas come to mind for you?

PRWeb Adds Trackbacks to Press Releases

David McInnis and friends and PRWeb have made a radical move to make Press Releases on PRWeb more of a two-way Social Dialogue through the introduction of Trackbacks.

PRWeb Adds Trackbacks to Press Releases!

OK, so this may sound a bit geek, but guess what? I just caught wind that PRWeb is now installing a Trackback link system into their press release distribution engine.

Get it?
